Annika Sorenstam
Annika is the greatest female golfer of our generation, and often regarded as the best player in LPGA history. Her prestigious list of accomplishments includes her 2003 induction into the LPGA and World Golf Halls of Fame, ten Major Championships, 85 worldwide professional victories, eight LPGA Player of the Year Awards, and participation on seven Solheim Cup teams. In 2001 Annika earned the nickname "Ms. 59" when she became the first female to break 60 in an official LPGA tournament. Through her success she has transcended the game of golf, as evidenced by the numerous "Female Athlete of the Year" Awards she has received around the world. Annika literally holds more than one third of all LPGA records and her work ethic and dedication to both golf and fitness is truly legendary.
Henri Reis — Director of Instruction
Henri Reis is an internationally renown PGA golf instructor and has been Annika's only swing coach for over 20 years. A member of the Swedish PGA since 1980, Henri has taught over 25 years and has experience in all aspects of the game. As the top Swedish teacher, Henri has had the opportunity to travel all over the world and teach golfers of all skill levels. His clients range from beginners at the club level to the best in the world. He has passion for the game, and it shows in his unique ability to adjust his teaching methods to each individual. Henri's simple approach focuses on basic fundamentals, which has been recognized over the years through his work with the Swedish National teams.
Kai Fusser — Director of Fitness
German born Kai Fusser, a certified personal trainer and sport nutritionist, brings a lifetime of experience to the ANNIKA Academy™. From his many years of working with beginners to world champion athletes, Kai has the skill and expertise to create optimal personal fitness programs for guests enrolled in the Academy. Kai has been a trainer for over 10 years and has served as Annika's personal trainer for more than six years. His rapidly growing client base includes aspiring collegiate athletes across the country, as well as professionals in the sports of swimming, wakeboarding, waterskiing, basketball, tennis, and golf. He often shares his expertise with university teams and at fitness summits. His clients' results have been recognized worldwide.
Charlotta Sorenstam Director of Golf Operations
Charlotta attended the University of Texas on a golf scholarship in 1993. She won two college tournaments her freshman year, including the NCAA Championships, which garnered her All-American status. Charlotta decided to turn professional in 1995, the same year she qualified for the Ladies European Tour. In the fall of 1996, Charlotta earned fully exempt status on the LPGA Tour by finishing second at Qualifying School. In 1998, she earned a precious spot on the European Solheim Cup Team. In 2000 she earned her first LPGA victory at the Standard Register Ping in Phoenix. In her 12 years as a professional she has two victories, one on the LPGA and one on the Korean LPGA. In 2003, Charlotta was the recipient of the Mary Bae Porter Award, which was established by the Metropolitan Golf Writer's Association, to recognize a humanitarian or heroic act that enhances human life. In 2005 she was named Captain of the European Junior Solheim Cup Team and in 2006 she was the head speaker at the World Golf Conference in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Mark Bereza — ANNIKA Academy Assistant
Mark Bereza, ANNIKA Academy Assistant, was born in Ann Arbor and raised in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. His passion for sports began early including, downhill skiing, snowboarding, lacrosse, wind surfing and of course golfing, during Michigan's long summer days.
Over the past decade Mark has amassed an extensive set of skills working in the golf industry. From The Club at Cordillera in Vail, Troon North in Scottsdale, to Mystic Dunes and Hawk's Landing in Orlando, Mark has a broad range of experience in Golf Instruction, Club Fitting, Event Management and Professional Golf Competition.
Pam Kehoe — Director of Operations
Director of Operations Pam Kehoe brings a wealth of experience to the ANNIKA Academy. While growing up in the Midwest and learning about business first hand from several successful family-owned businesses she decided to pursue her own career in business management. Pam eventually relocated to the Sunshine State and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. Since completing her education, Pam has accumulated many awards and accolades for her business acumen. Her many achievements in management and sales were bestowed while working with companies dealing in transportation, retail, client services and the State Department. Pam has a dedication to excellence and is excited by the opportunity to apply her knowledge, creativity and skills to the daily operations and long-term planning for the ANNIKA Academy and its programs. Pam's outside interests include: traveling, volunteering, the beach, movies and spending time with family and friends.
Michelle McGee — Director of Sales
Michelle McGee, Director Of Sales, was born and raised in East Palestine, Ohio. Her strong passion for sports started at a young age and progressed through high school as she worked hard to achieve twelve Varsity letters in volleyball, basketball and softball. She took her interest in sports to another level when she entered Mount Union College and graduated with a Sport Management Degree in 2002.
Michelle's extensive sales background started one week after college graduation as she stepped into the sports industry with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In her 3 seasons there, she assisted the Cavaliers in exceeding their overall sales goals. Michelle also has had the pleasure contributing to other sales and marketing teams such as the Portland Trail Blazers, and the Oakland Raiders prior to joining the ANNIKA Academy team.
Michelle grew up around the game of golf as her father, Jerry McGee, won four times on the PGA TOUR and represented the United States in the 1977 Ryder Cup. Michelle is extremely excited to share this special game of golf with others thru ANNIKA Academy.
Kelly Pratt — Multimedia Specialist
Kelly Dwayne Pratt hails from Cape Cod, Massachusetts. His passion for sports started early, however it wasn’t until he graduated from the University of Central Florida that he became drawn to sports media. Kelly has been a production assistant for ESPN, a broadcast producer and operator for the Orlando Magic as well as a photographer and videographer for various regional and national sporting events. He is proud to bring his passion for media and technology to the ANNIKA Academy to help make the guests experience truly one-of-a-kind.
